“Peaking” Beyond Roast Duck

A three-part sightseeing walking tour combining Beijing’s vibrant urban culture, rich flavors and savory dishes, and a local market tour and private cooking class dinner.

Start your morning off at the top of Jingshan Peak above the forbidden city and enjoy a local Beijing Breakfast of just baked crispy snacks, savory sesame buns, and fresh, and more.

After breakfast, wander along the the beautiful Beihai Park, a willow surrounded lakeside respite in the very center of Beijing. The lake district plays host to all kinds of organized cultural activities including group song, craftworks, tai chi and excercise, and of course, all variety of delicious snacks.

Next we’ll make our way into the quaint neighborhoods called Hutongs which are common to Beijing.  After visiting a local wet market to get a a feel for what its like living here, we’ll get started with our own private Cooking Class and prepare a dinner of our own.
